Dieting...
When was the last time a girl fren told you she's too fat and needs to diet? all gers are guilty of this but its not like we are vain or wadever... it's the truth!! esp when you are on a office job (which most of us are). Imagine, sitting the whole day, then have lunch, sit again. then dinner, sit again. so its eat and sit, sit and eat. and who suffers?? the tummy!! haha...

A fren was telling me she wans to go on diet... so there we were, two gers exchanging pointers on the best method to lose weight.

1. Calories counting. Stick to 2000 calories per day
Advantages: It really works! can lose alot of weight.
Disadvantages: Mus be super disciplined. once you exceed, you will gain back the weight again. and its really troublesome to remember how many calories each food contains.
Verdict: Forget it. haha

2. Skipping lunch or dinner.
Advantages: yups this works too. and saves the trouble of thinking of wad to eat. hehe
Disadvantage: unwise to skip meals. and never skip breakfast!
Verdict: maybe a light lunch or dinner is a better idea.

3. Proper meals with absolutely no snacking in between. Avoid oily food.
Advantage: proper eating habits and proven by my fren to work!
Disadvantage: again, discipline is a prob.
Verdict: if you are a snacking queen like me, forget it. hahaha

The thing abt decreasing your food intake is that your body will feel the change, resulting in insufficient energy. This then leads to a fall in metobolism rate cos now there are less calories to burn. So, when you increase your food intake again, cos of the fall in metabolism rate, there will be excess calories which will be converted to FATS~ ie. gain weight!!

4. Dun care, jus eat wad you want.
Advantage: No worries abt anything
Disadvantage: You WILL put on weight.
Verdict: the older you get, this option is less attractive, cos our metabolism rate will fall which means we need to eat less or risk gaining weight.

5. Moderate eating, avoid too much oily and fattening food. Indulge then work it off.
Advantage: No risk of metabolism rate falling. maintain wadever you are now.
Disadvantage: No time and too lazy to exercise.
Verdict: Best solution. So try to exercise more! hahaha
