Misery: round 2
Jus when i'm complaining non stop cos of my disgusting schedule, round two is out!!! If i thought that working 8 weeks straight was bad, round 2 is WORSE!!! from the day i stepped into office until the end of the yr, i will only have 3 weeks free. and for some ppl, they have already slacked more than 3 weeks up till today!! super unfair rite?? Sighs... dunno if this is lucky or unlucky sia... lucky cos this gives me exposure and i dun have to worry abt clocking my time. unlucky cos lotsa OT and shit... oh wells...

BUT, round 2 is worse!! round 2 is actually our schedule for the first half of next yr. i'm expecting to be busy since it is the peak period... but not THIS busy.... i am actually booked all the way till mid Apr with only one week break in mid march. Yes, april!!! which is like 4 mths of working?? huhs?? and one job is actually gonna take 11 weeks?? hmms... dun understand why it will take so long. Maybe its cos the job requires us to go overseas?? haha... but i dunno if first years are going, though i hope i can go!! haha... phuket, shanghai and Maldives!! How cool is that? praying hard that i can go~ hehe... Ohs but i realised i'm not the worst liao. there is this guy booked all the way until june lor!! with only one week break. i will jus quit immediately if i'm him. hahahaha....

Anyway, if you are thinking that audit is hard, actually it is not really hard lar... esp for us yr ones... we kinda do the brainless stuffs like vouching and casting... blehs... its jus time consuming when it comes to big companies with many many subsidaries. cos need to do something called consolidation!!! hahaha, AA 306 is back to haunt us... for the benefit of those non accounting ppl... here's my simplified version of conso...
To produce the grp's financial statements of Company A, we need to combine all of the Subsi's financial statements. Then we move dwn the ladder to do B and C, which requires us to combine all the B1s and C1 and C2 respectively. then we do for B1, which means combining B1.1 and B1.2. and this is on top of the individual financial statements... haha confused liao rite? in short its jus alot of work. it is this conso that takes up the bulk of our time lor... sighs... not looking fwd to this. cos both my engagements has alot alot of subsi!! Why can't i have tiny cos with no subsi??? wahaha... Good luck to me~
