Dunno if the words can be seen cos they look kinda small. but to summarise, i just got news that a certain big 4 is offering fresh grads pay of up to 2.6K depending on their acadamic performance!! this has been confirmed by my dearest jr who received a call frm the HR dept. and this means... GOOD NEWS!!!
The best piece of news to motivate me to keep going! Just when i am having thoughts of leaving audit, this happens!! wahaha... happiness!! does this mean that our 2nd round of pay increment is coming soon?!?! If the other Big 4s dun follow suit and increase the pay, everyone is gonna start hopping over!! hohoho... Headaches for HR, good news for us!! After soo many yrs of being underpaid PROFESSIONALS (and let me emphasise this, cos even some non degree holders are earning more than us..) Justice is finally done!!! hohoho....
now, lets jus cross our fingers and hope the other 3 follows... praying hard....
...SIGHS... Audit peak is terrible and horrible!! OMG! never knew that sleeping is SO enjoyable. the next person to tell me that he/she slept too much shall be slapped! wahaha... nowadays i only sleep a maximum of 5 hrs?? and sleeping 6 hrs is called very good. anything more is like receiving a big fat bonus!! and this includes weekends!! Terrible rite?? oh no, i am complaining again... wahaha, this is so me.
How to battle audit peak1. Pray very hard before the peak that you get good jobs.
2. Stock up on lots and lots of coffee
3. Vitamins is another must so that you dun fall sick. cos even if u are sick, still need to work.
4. Invest in a good eye cream. Lack of sleep = ugly eye bags and dark circles
5. No contact lens.
6. No snacking. if not will gain weight (like me). Eat and sit, sit and eat. Arghs!!!
7. Drink plenty of water
8. Herbal tea once in a while.
9. Sleep!!
10. Have lotsa frens on hold cos once you are free, its time to meet up! (and nope, dear frens u are not spares. jus tt we dunno wad time we knock off every day.)
Haven't been blogging for weeks... simply NO TIME and energy to do so lar... Any free time i have is to sleep if not go out!! hee... cannot be too no life lehs, still must go out. and Last nite was the worst!! left my client's at 3am?!?! and went back this morning at 10am? trying to test my limit sia... if this goes on, bound to fall sick lor... sighs... praying for the best. 7.5 more weeks to go!! Jiayou!!
Back to earth...
I've been so in a holidaying mood lately... maybe its becos xmas and new yr jus passed... and i totally enjoyed myself.. no mood to work at all... but oh well, its time to come back to earth. cos it is AUDIT PEAK!!! wth~ seriously no life now... everyday work till 12 mn. going home at 10pm is actually called EARLY?!?! hmms... i wonder if i can make it through sia... but nono!! think positive! hee...
i'm waiting to see wad i will become after one audit peak. my sup keeps saying one audit peak will change a person alot... hmm... so i shall see how true that is... Anyways, to all my dear frens,
May 2007 be a good year for all... and to all dear auditors, every yr doesn begin well for us cos of the peak. but hang in there! We can do it!! just think of the long holis to come!! hohoho....

Happy 2007!!! hee... New yr this time was spent at home. yes i am not lying!! i was at home doing work and watching TV... hohoho how un-me but yes, its the truth. getting old i guess, dun really like to be squeezing in crowds and i am not a chiong-ing person... hee... Even my sisters were shocked tt i was staying home. so, they decided we should celebrate new yr together! with sparklers!! hee.. so cute of my sisters, lurve them deep deep!!
We were playing outside our home so that the smoke will not linger at home.. hee fogged the entire corridor though. lucky my neighbours were all asleep, if not someone will bound to complain. hee... but the sparklers are really pretty. brings back childhood memories and makes me feel old!! -_-

Our mini little cook-out. tried to make brownies but in the end became choc cake. hahaha... nxt time we shall FOLLOW the receipe, not our gut feel k?? but then again, it was fun even if our end pdt was not wad we wanted =)
Our mess of chocolates... lots and lots of it. so maybe its a blessing in disguise tt the brownies din turn out well? cos if not will gain weight!! hoho
The consolation, everything else turned out fine so we still had enuff food. in fact, MORE than enuff food... hehe... super super full that night. Us with all our food... they blessed love birds on the left and the pretty singles on the right! lalala

Finally met up with the morey's gang!! ok, not really "gang" cos it was jus this few of us... but i miss my baby so much!! *muacks muacks* hee... and finally gave dear polarbear his ka fei.. nice ka fei is worth waiting for rite?? lalala... of cos not forgetting my two beloved "golden flowers". Dar, even though ting has left us, you still have me!! wahahaha... Lunch at the rice table was really fun. Lotsa food but i was only attracted to the satay! inexpensive meal i would say and not surprisingly not many people either...

Yups, had a very happening new yr holi... played really hard and super tired cos i was out all the time.. but it was worth it. cos the mths to come will be HELL. no more gg out, in fact no more weekends too?? cos its peak period for us auditors!! SOBZ!!! no wonder ppl say auditors work hard and play equally hard... how true!! wish me luck! *crossing fingers*
