outdated posts
Its time to post all my outdated posts.....

Krabi

A little island off phuket, Krabi is really a very pretty place... although abit commercialised... hee.. simple heart the beaches.

Super clear waters... very good for snockling. and the fishes are like everywhere!!! totally cool, though i was quite scared in the beginning.. hee overwhelmed by the amount of fishes. hohoho

Our pretty hotel... was abit disappointed that the main pool was under construction. but then again, it was raining everyday, so cannot swim either... the stupid wheather was the only thing that spoilt our trip. boo hoo...

Our room... simply love it!! Huge bed, nice toilet and superb view!

SEAFOOD and more seafood!! Its damn delicious and cheap!! every dinner is seafood and each meal costs less than 25 sgd. Slurpppp~

Not forgetting the spa!! hee, nice massage but no jacuzzi... =(

Hee, we were bored of shopping (there's really nothing much) and decided to jus bum at the beach and take silly photos... hee...

I went horse-back riding!! was pretty scared the horse will throw me off at first, but in the end it turned out alrite, minus the 101 mosquito bites i got and the super bad blister on my butt!! damn pain!!

my complains...
my hotel in Lijiang... was quite disappointed when we were told that we will not be staying in Banyan because the resort was fully booked... hence the non-stop complaints of my own hotel... then again, my hotel wasn't all bad actually... we each had room to ourselves, which explains why my bed is so messy... the room is quite big, bigger than the rooms i've stayed in during my other holis.

Having two beds to myself... hehe... one for sleeping and the other? for dumping my rubbish of cos.. hee... dun understand why they din give me a room with a double bed.... and the room is freaking dark la! i can even sleep with ALL the lights on. i seriously hate orange lights.

the view outside my hotel. quite pretty actually... so yar, i should stop complaining... hehehe

the only thing i miss abt China
After coming back from Lijiang, China i swear i never missed home this much... (dar i so understand why u hate China now) Not only did I not get to stay in Banyan Tree, (TSE, stop laughing) our experience at the international airport seriously sucks! OMG~ but that's for another time... This post is for the only thing i miss abt Lijiang - the food @ Banyan... who says that not staying there means cannot enjoy? haha

Our first dinner at the Western restaurant. The restaurant is called Ming Yue btw, how ironic eh? Western rest wif Chi name... wahahaha. acutally all the rest and cafes have very 诗情画意names i will say. The western one being called Ming Yue, the chinese one Bai yun and the bar, wen hai.... wonder who came up wif such names... hee

Anyway, we blew a hefty S$150 on this first dinner. The food is really overpriced (and small portion) if you ask me. but it is GOOD! I seriously love the steak and the bread! The three of us concluded that the best food in the restaurant is the bread!! Hence the focus of every meal. =P

All the other food we tried during our 6 day stay there... One can only guess how much we chalked up in all. And all you see here is only MY share of the food, and this is not all, cos i din take photos during a few meals cos my battery died on me. *^&%$

The ha-gao (shrimp dumplings) in the second pic are the most expensive ones i ever had in my entire life! S$10.50 for 3?!?! and thats before tax and svc charge!! The drinks are reasonable though. My Pina Colada and Shirley Temple is only S$12 each before tax. My fav is still the Cheesecake (3rd pic). It is damn good! better than any i had in Spore. But it is super ex lar. S$17.00 for that small piece. See why i say the stuff are overpriced?

Special mention for the veggie-look alike thing. It is called ceasar salard!! Imagine the shocked looks on all our 3 faces when it arrived?? Who has seen such a "unique" ceasar salard? All 3 of us immediately took out our cameras and started snapping non stop. Think the waitress must have thought we were mad.

Our last dinner at Bai Yun. I seriously prefer the food at the chi restaurant. I think it is much better =) this meal costs i think near S$150 too... the Beijing duck is GOOD!! super super heart. But the seafood fried rice (not featured) still gets my vote for the best dish. =)

More posts to come... hee

No more hiding
Yays~ there is no more hiding... I noe I have been waiting for this day to come. but somehow now that it has really arrived, i feel kind of overwhelmed. Maybe i have been used to hiding? or mayeb i am too concerned about others' feelings and reactions? but oh well, i am not complaining. I am just happy there is no more hiding.
