girls make great economists
I'm puzzled... what is a recession? What happens during a recession?

the headlines hogging Yahoo! finance are as follows:
- Retail sales, wholesale prices fall again in Nov
- layoffs continue as recession deepens
- so and so company to cut xxx jobs
etc etc...

BUT! In spore, i see that retail is totally unaffected... the queues at LV, Gucci and Coach are still horrible!! where is the recession? To quote my fren "girls are totally not affected by the recession" its either we dun feel it or we are all very good with econs. cos during recessions, we are suppose to spend to boost the economy. go figure.

on a totally different note, the guys are so feeling the recession. my bf included. "cut dwn on eating at restrauants" he tells me. another fren goes "recession liao, no money, eat cheaper stuff can" omg! girls, pls educate your bfs... wahahaha~

Bolt!!!

Went to watch Disney's newest animation over the weekend. Worth every cent of my money! The movie was great... The storyline is abt a superdog - Bolt who is a TV star and brought up to believe that he was really a superdog with super powers. He is never allowed to leave the set in order for the fliming to seem "real". however, Bolt escapes thinking that his master (Penny) was really kidnapped by the evil villian.


In the real world, Bolt meet Mittens (the cat) and learns that he does not actually have super powers. In his quest to save Penny, Bolt and Mittens meets Rhino (the hamster) and the 3 animals embark on a journey to help Bolt find his way home....


Really cute and touching movie i would say. Rhino is the cutest, always staying in his hamster ball. Wahaha... maybe i just like fat stuffs, cos Rhino is really fat! *squeeze*

4.5 stars! Almost as good as Finding Nemo.
