this has been around for quite some time already.... i heard there is even a stall in bugis? craziness. but for the fun of it, we decided to visit Qian Hu, cos its suppose to have the biggest ponds...

so one super free sunday afternoon, we took the mrt all the way down to Chua Chu Kang to change to the free shuttle to Qian Hu Fish Farm.

Qian Hu must be super rich man! Own Berth at the interchange plus uses Bus Plus buses that comes every 15 mins?!?! Wooh...

Weird fishes
Before the spa, we decided to tour the farm a little...

Many weird fishes around... goldfishes that are so fat, they can hardly swim, poka dot stingray, pufferfishes and red coloured crabs. then again, the winner is still to come..........

Some mutated fish which looks like it has a spine of some sort. it doesn swim at all and actually pushes itself with its head. pretty much like crawling... W.E.I.R.D

Finally the fish spa... its really much cheaper than those outside. i know the shop @ Spore Flyer charges almost $30 for 30mins. but this is only $1o for 30 mins. Good deal~

Its really scary at first and i didn dare to put my feet in at all! and when the fishes come nibbling, its really ticklish. O.M.G. eekss... and there are so many of them! just look at the little black things around my feet. i was screaming cos it was so ticklish. think those around were highly amused by me. wahaha~

There are 3 ponds there... 2 normal ones and one with big fishes. Really BIG ones... like those below. Not for the faint hearted ppl like me. the fishes are longer than my feet lar!!!!

The little ones are actually on sale. so can buy like 100 and put them at home to make your own fish spa~ but they cost $2 for one i think. $$$$ The whole trip was pretty fun lar... but not very convenient sia. wun go unless i am very very free again. heh=)

Finally i went to Genting! Haven't been there since i was 10? sheesh. nothing spectacular for sure... but pretty enjoyed the weather. =)

Me being the cannot-sleep-on-buses kind, decided to take the executive coach. Super duper spacious. almost 180 degrees recline and you will not hit the person behind! comes with personal entertainment sys as well! feels like taking first class on planes. hoho~


Overview of the skyline. Super foggy the day we arrived. so pretty cold. only thing lousy is that the check-in time is 3pm and we reached at 5am? nowhere to go and so sleepy. hence the importance to sleep on the coach if you wanna take the night bus. and the hotel...... lets not talk abt it. blehs

Headed to the casino since there is no where else to go. Nope, din try my luck so din lose anything, haha. next was the theme park!!


Indoor Theme park. More for the kids.... for us, just take pictures bah. wahaha. Cheap alternative for ppl who cannot afford to go to New York and Paris - Genting Statue of Liberty and Eiffel Tower.

Go Karting. Super lousy cars. No need for the breaks at all, course too gentle. and the helmets stinks! eeeekksss!! My car broke down so i was stuck somewhere on the track, and ended up last which means can ask baby to take picture! blessing in disguise? Hoho...

Winner ride! Super cool. but not included in the one day pass. We have to pay extra for this. but worth every cent of it. i never came down of a roller coaster ride screaming from beginning to end. maybe its cos we were lying down and going 360 degrees? but the ride was total madness. all 4 of us agreed. think baby lost 5yrs of his life on that. oopss, i din say that. wahahaha

Bowling... 1 free game per room and buy 2 get one free. works out to be 15rm for all 6 of us to play one game each! Realised i'm nowhere to be found? cos i was pretty much cleaning the drains. and no score, to lousy to be shown. =P

Happy Anniversary!! How time flies... its alr a year! I'm sure we'll have many more 365 days to come and prove those ppl wrong!! hee =)

Dinner
Dinner is served at Lawry's Prime Ribs. Always wanted to give it a go and this was really worth EVERY cent! Superb ambience, wonderful service with friendly staff and most importantly, superlicious food! Absolutely great!!

The chef goes around pushing silver carts which actually holds the beef. we can choose the cut and tell the chef how well we want it. and the sauce which is served with the beef is just superb!

All mains comes with the Signature "Spinning bowl salad" and the waitresses really spins the bowl to mix the salad... It is simply the best salad i ever had. 10/10! Dessert was the Strawberry English Trifle which was on the house, cos the waitress found out we were celebrating our anni. and we didn't even ask for it! Really great service.

I would strongly reco this. but the price tag is really steep... like really really steep. Water has to be bought and a bottle costs 7+++. Yea... so go figure.

PresentsHuge bouquet of flowers for me!! in PINK!! Plus pretty hand made cards, jig-saw and lovely watch (in my fav rose gold!) Now both of us have automatic watches!! *heart*
