Pretty Sunway Pyramid hotel.. though the view is not exactly splendid...Yummy food glore!! There is really alot of food, baskin robins, TGIF, Dunkin Dounuts... TGIF rocks!! miss the potato skins alr!!! The shopping is pretty not bad. best thing there!
Sunway Lagoonnnnn~ not very big actually. we finished both the wet and dry parks all in one day. Q-ing time was pretty long. only liked the roller coaster the others were just so-so...
Water park was much better.... go in the morning to avoid the Q.. the Q in the afternoon is just horrible. total waste of time.
The world's longest suspension bridge. really very very long... almost died crossing it and coming back. esp with the sun!!! but the view was pretty cool. hee....
Our gifts frm the Merlion. Its pretty cool, we insert a coin into the mouth in exchange for a gift card, which indicates the souvenir we won. This is actually my first time up the Merlion, (yes i noe i am SK) and really loved the view! The sunset was pretttyyy~
Some of the new stuff in Sentosa.. the Observation Tower, which costs 12sgd?!?! Seriously, i think it is very over priced! The Merlion offers almost the same view... BAH!
This is sooo cool! Though short, the Luge was pretty fun and the sky ride so reminded me of the Sky Ride in Moreys. Even the running off and tripping the sensor is the same!! only diff? Sporeans are much smarter. no whaming of the handle bar onto thighs nor being hit by moving chairs. =P
Guess where we spent the most time? .... in the museum!! wahaha it was pretty fun somehow. very diff frm the way i remembered it back in Pri sch days.
The new musical fountain is way cool! only dwnside? we got to pay $6 to watch it now. Just when i thought who will pay such money to watch flying water and laser lights, the ppl at the ticket counter told me to get our tix early cos all the shows on wkends are always sold out!! True enough, the entire place was PACKED! imagine the amount of $$ earned~ Luckily the show was not too bad =)
Happy trip to Sentosa~ Too bad we din have time for underwater world... Next time bah....
Pretty nite scenes of Spore's skyline. i feel like a tourist.
1: You go shopping in the middle of the day, and take pictures of funny looking soft toys. And since everyone else is working, you will notice that you have the entire orchard road to urself... hahahaha~
2: Have high tea and watch everyone else rushing past you and going to work.... Enjoy the fact that there is no need to queue for a seat and you can take as long as you want to enjoy your cakes and coffee.
3: Watch a movie on a tuesday afternoon and find that you can buy the tickets at the counter 30 mins before the show... lalala
4: Realise that you have alot of time at home... So make sandwiches for baby and your sisters... yummy~
5: Realise that with no work means no income and less likely to eat your fav cheesecake (cos they are so expensive) Hence, learn to make it to save money!!!
6: Learn to stay at home more and eat mummy's home cooked meals. (again, dining out means spending and no work = no $$) And also to steal some cooking skills from mummy. hehehe
7: Tidy your very messy room cos you never had time to do that and find lots of lost memories.. sweet~
8: Visit touristy places like Sentosa cos you never had the time to while you were working... (pictures to come)
9: Get killed by fellow working frens for posting this post! Wahahaha!!! Pls dun kill me~
Life as a jobless auditor is just.... GREAT! (minus the no $$ part) =P
The gers' food... I heart the Hotate butter, but realised that the yakitori one is better!! maybe its the sauce. or maybe i just love hotate... wahaha... the "Nabes" were good too, we had the beef Kaminabe and Chige Nabe. And everyone concluded that the Chige soup base is the best!! Also tried the fried udon, which was not too bad either... yummys~
The guys' food... somehow all of them ordered noodles while the gers had none. dun ask me why, it was just so.. hehe.. they said it was so-so only, so we concluded to stick to non-noodle stuff next time..
After much crapping and laughing (this is the advantage of having a room), it was time to pick the tab and move on to desserts! Thanks boss for the treat! Desserts was a Mocha feast and it was at another Jap rest called MOF. The hot fav was the "Mocha Zen" which we ordered 3 servings. the red bean is not too sweet and the mocha ice cream is just sllurrppp~
My happy Banyan Team.. missing the good old days already... Jia you my beloved A1s, you will be greatly missed!!
