Shokudo
I'm starting to appreciate the amt of free time i am having now. Although there is really nothing to do during the day (other than meeting ppl for lunch), i have more time to meet up with frens during the nite and on weekends. And it is only now that i realise how precious weekends are. How on earth did i survive the past 1.5 yrs?!?! hahaha


Finally met up wif my roomie after so so long... Miss you loads~ we decided to give Shokudo a shot, having heard soo much abt it. and the queue is always super duper long! there was alr a queue at 7.30pm on a weekday! Come 8pm the queue is alr super super long.... and sorry, no reservations. Wahaha this is the power of freedom!


The food bazzar is pretty much Marche, jap style (there's another pizza and pasta outlet). Everyone is given a card to use when ordering food (very much like Marche) and there is this "reserved" token to place on the table. High class version of the tissue paper style. whaha


The serving is not very big. We had 3 dishes in all... the soup was too sweet for our liking. the Unagi too watery, only the fried udon was ok... The food is not wonderful and slightly overpriced. Over hyped in our opinion. Dissappointed, we headed to Menotti for dessert... Their desserts are super good in my opinion, esp the warm choc cake! omg!!! but we were more in the mood for ice cream hence giving tt a miss =(

Dessert was much better than the mains.... Yum~
